Abbiamo trovato due persone che vennero da Santa Caterina e si sposarono a San Marco: Gennaro e Achille Potente. Non erano fratelli e non sappiamo se fossero parenti. Achille si sposò due volte e così pure il figlio Michele. In quel periodo accadeva spesso che i bambini morissero alla nascita: è ciò che accadde a tre figli di Michele. Gli uomini di questo ceppo erano bracciali e abitarono nelle contrade Manca della Castagna e Iotta.

We found two persons that came from Santa Caterina Albanese and married in San Marco: Gennaro and Achille Potente. They were not brothers but we cannot say if they were relatives. Achille married twice and so his son Michele. It that period it happened often that babies died at birth; that is what happened to three sons of Michele. The men of this family were farm labourers and lived at Manca della Castagna and Iotta, two zones in the country of San Marco Argentano.
